A stage of the Moscow«Grand Prix» 2006 (www.chessmoscow.ru), Russia Cup 2006 (www.russiachess.ru) and the ACP Tour 2005-2006 (www.chess-players.org)
The tournament venue is Russian States Social University (RGSU), V. Pick Streat 4 building 5 (Metro Station “Botanichesky Sad”). The Organizer of the Festival is Moscow Chess Federation. The festival consists of two nine rounds Swiss Tournaments.
The garanted total prize fund of the both tournaments is more than 20 000 euro.

Special conditions of play, time control:
In the first four rounds the participants are playing in tree different groups:
1) By classical time control (105 minutes for all game with an increment of 30 seconds per move from the first move) -four days (one game daily),
2) By classical time control - two days (two games daily),
3) Rapid (30 minutes for all game with an increment of 10 seconds) – four games in one day.
In the first four rounds rounds the participants can get “by” (one draw without play) if they are asking for before the first round. The last five rounds the participants are playing by the one group with classical time control – one game daily.
